The Crescenta Valley is situated just 14 miles north of downtown Los Angeles, but feels as though it is a world away. Tucked in the foothills of the Verdugo Mountains and just north of Glendale, it is home to the cities and communities of La Crescenta and Montrose.

La Crescenta is a community at the base of the Angeles National Forest, offering rural living, views to the ocean and a convenient location less than 20 miles from downtown Los Angeles.  The population is approximately 19,000 and is home to award winning and Blue Ribbon-designated schools.

The quaint village of Montrose, a community within the city of Glendale, sits at the base of La Crescenta just north of Glendale proper. It offers a small-town America feel while providing a full range of services to its residents as well as top-notch schools.  Known for the Montrose Shopping Park – a tree-lined street filled with restaurants and unique shops, it is also home to an annual summer art fair, Octoberfest celebration, and the Glendale-Montrose-Verdugo City Christmas parade.

These areas are home to the real estate communities of La Crescenta, Briggs Terrace, Pinecrest, Montrose, Sparr Heights, Montecito Heights, Oakmont Woods, Glenwood Oaks and Whiting Woods and are located in the zip codes of 91214 and 91020.
